Christie Kanska is happy to announce the release of her latest studio album called
( Le Rêve -The Dream ). With this new Studio Album as a producer, she wanted to create a fresh sound of Latin Jazz music mixing with the Fusion feel and other styles and capture the positive spirit and story behind each song.

With this Studio Album, I wanted to create my vision of the place that I am longing to be and I wanted to share things of real value in this life. I wanted to create a fresh sound of Latin Jazz music mixing with the Fusion feel and other styles and capture the positive spirit and story behind each song. Brazilian music, particularly Bossa Novas is my favorite style. When I perform the samba I feel completely relaxed and like a “fish in water” and the songs of Carlos Jobim resonate with me.

Hard to express with words all my gratitude to Zdenek for all that hard work that he did for this album as a composer, producer, arranger, bass player, and recording engineer. Without you, I couldn't achieve this album and you are my inspiration and the biggest love of my life. The collaboration with my husband Zdenek Kansky reminds me of the story of Adam and Eve in that an allegory can be made that " Le Rêve" was created from the rib of the Upright bass Inspiration. I am so glad that these two compositions are in this album and you can hear the influences and connection of the music of two musicians-two soulmates who collaborate and share life, each inspiring the other.
I am especially grateful for his wonderful timeless gift of the song “For Christie”, some of the most wonderful music from the Contemporary Jazz style with so much space and infinity that it makes you embrace the unembraceable. This Album is a dream that came true.

Le Rêve - "The Dream", features 11 tracks. Track- the “Le Rêve”, an original instrumental composition by Christie Kanska.“Le Reve” has that modern modal concept integrating electric and acoustic sounds. It is a mix of modern rock-fusion style with the smooth classic Bossa Nova sounds to convey the power and speed of our busy lives and the nostalgia and softness of those more laid-back times.
The other songs are 7 well-known bossa nova standards by some of the best-known Brazilian singer-songwriters, including popular tunes such as Bananeira by Joao Donato; Dindi, Triste, Fotografia, No More Blues, One Note Samba, and the iconic Girl From Ipanema by Carlos Jobim. The album includes a swing song by Cole Porter “ From this moment on”, experimenting with this song using Brazilian rhythm baião.

Also, Album includes an “Upright Bass Inspiration” composition by her husband, co-producer, and arranger Zdenek Kansky from which the Latin jazz theme for the album originated. “For Christie” by Zdenek Kansky is enchanting music some of the most wonderful music from the Contemporary Jazz style. It is magical with the dreamy sound of strings pads and beautiful chord progressions with open voicings.
